As the festive season unfolds, North West Norfolk comes alive with Christmas markets and events, offering local businesses a chance to showcase their unique products.
Last weekend, the Beacon Church in North Lynn kicked off the celebrations with a Christmas Makers Market, featuring handcrafted items such as wreaths, candles, decorations, and gifts for just £3 each.
This weekend, the popular Festive Merchants’ Market returns to King’s Lynn for its fifth year. Held in the Tuesday Market Place, it runs on Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
Elsewhere, the Bagladies of Thornham will host their annual Winter Gift Fair at Thornham Village Hall on Saturday, December 7th. With 20 stalls offering distinctive gifts and seasonal produce, the event highlights the creativity of local vendors and runs from 10am to 4pm.
While bringing festive cheer to the area, the many events provide vital opportunities for small businesses to connect with the community. As a newly appointed Shadow Treasury, James Wild MP is keen to support local enterprise and recognises the importance of such events in boosting the local economy.
Commenting on the festivities, James Wild MP said:
“With Small Business Saturday just around the corner, it’s fitting to see small businesses across the constituency showcasing their produce. As Member of Parliament, I am committed to ensuring our local businesses have every opportunity to succeed and thrive.”
