At Prime Minister’s questions, Sir Keir Starmer said “hospitals with RAAC…must be a priority. ” This follows the government's decision to review the new hospitals programme including a new QEH.
Commenting James Wild said:
"While it is welcome that the Prime Minister has finally said RAAC hospitals are a priority, it is the government’s review causing damaging uncertainty for NHS staff and patients. It is two months since they announced a pause to the new hospitals programme and with little progress since, Labour must remove the doubt they caused and unambiguously commit immediately to a new QEH by 2030."
