James was interviewed on BBC Radio Norfolk about QEH where he said how frustrating the delay in a decision is but that he is optimistic QEH will be added to the new hospitals programme.
James campaigned successfully in Parliament with strong local support to get a commitment to a new QEH by 2030 by the then Conservative government.During the general election campaign, James warned a Labour government would put a new QEH at risk.
