On Friday, James appeared on Radio Norfolk to talk about issues with the QEH roof and discussions with the Health Minister this week on short term funding and the need for a new hospital or substantial rebuild as part of the new eight hospitals that are planned.
James campaigned successfully in Parliament with strong local support to get a commitment to a new QEH by 2030 by the then Conservative government.During the general election campaign, James warned a Labour government would put a new QEH at risk.
