The Hunstanton Soap Box Derby is set to return next year with the promise of a bigger and better event to kick start the season in the popular resort.
Nearly 50 home-built karts took part in the last event held in Hunstanton in 2019. Due to the Covid pandemic the event was cancelled in 2020.
Now the borough council, who organise the event, are launching early to give people plenty of time to work on their Easter-themed creations during the winter months. Karts will need to be ready to race down the streets of Hunstanton on 2 April 2023 - the first weekend of the Easter school holidays.
The' course starts on Greevegate and ends up on Beach Terrace Road.
Details of the full event will be announced once finalised, but in the meantime, entrants are urged to save the date and get started on their karts and costumes.
