Following the new government's announcement that it was reviewing the budget and timelines for the new hospitals programme, James was interviewed on Radio Norfolk.
He set out the disappointment at this review when during the election, Labour said it was committed to delivering the programme including at QEH. James said that the case for RAAC hospitals was beyond doubt and rather than introduce delay the Health Secretary should be approving the business case and funding for the new multi-storey car park - a key enabling project for the new hospital.
