Veterans and families of those who served in the Far East gathered together last week to commemorate VJ day and the end of World War Two.
James Wild MP for North West Norfolk, alongside Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, veterans, and their families remembered servicemen who fought bravely in what is often called the ‘forgotten war’.
Wreaths were placed at the Burma Star memorial, with a service led by Father Adrian Ling and included readings from family members of those who served.
