As part of his focus on helping to improve education in North West Norfolk, James Wild MP’s latest school visit took him to West Winch Primary School to tour the school and meet pupils.
West Winch Primary School received a ‘good’ rating in their latest Ofsted report. The school has fostered a positive environment through their school values of respect, responsibility and resourcefulness where students are engaged, and enthusiasm is shown by teachers and pupils.
James was shown around the school by year six Brylee and Dylan who provided an informative tour, taking James to see many different classes of all ages where he saw phonics, French, and fractions lessons all happening.
Speaking after the visit, James Wild MP said:
"It was a pleasure to visit West Winch Primary School and observe a variety of lessons in action. I was especially impressed by the enthusiasm and energy of both the pupils and staff. I would like to give special thanks to the two outstanding Year Six students who took time out of their class to give me an insightful tour of the school."
