James Wild enjoyed meeting Ivor Rowlands and Tim FitzHigham to chat about their vital work at the Shakespeare Guildhall Trust.
St George’s Guildhall in King’s Lynn is the largest 15th Century guildhall in England. The Guildhall Theatre is the oldest working theatre in the UK and is the only theatre that can claim to have hosted Shakespeare. The Trust plans to renovate and secure the historic buildings so that this wonderful building has a sustainable future providing a venue for the arts – particularly theatrical performance, education and research.
James was keen to hear about the Trust's plans and learn about how he can support them in their valuable project. He was also delighted to present medals and fizz to the volunteers who make it all happen - and to attend the fantastic show.
